Ocean SME Support Fund

Ocean, in conjunction with Southampton City Council, is launching an advertising fund for SMEs based in Southampton.

An advertising fund with a media value of £250k has been created especially for Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) based in the city.

Generated in order to ‘Get Southampton Moving’ and help support businesses, jobs and the city’s local economy after the hardships posed by the recent Covid 19 pandemic, the SME Support Fund is open to local independent SMEs and retailers with less than 250 employees and companies must be registered to a Southampton postcode.

SMEs are invited to register their interest by completing the form below. The deadline to complete the online submission is December 31st. All approved registrations will go into an automatic draw and businesses will be picked at random until the £250k fund limit is reached. If your submission is successful, an Ocean representative will be in touch.

The adverts will air over the course of six months, with the first campaigns due to go live in January 2022. The adverts will feature across Ocean’s six outdoor screens across the city centre (The Totem @ West Quay, The Screen @ West Quay, XL – Mountbatten Way, XL – Western Esplande, D48 Bevois Valley Road and D48 Maybray King Way). The screens and adverts placed will be picked at random.

Advertisers can produce either static or full-motion content and Southampton City Council’s creative unit will be on hand to provide design help, if required, at a discounted fee.

Entries for the fund are now closed.
